Suwannee is on the Florida Gulf Coast near the mouth of the famous Suwannee River. The modern
day town of Suwannee is located 65 miles west of Gainesville.
It is at the end of SE County Road 349, a lovely two lane road that travels through the countryside
and crosses through the Yellow Jacket Conservation area and the Lower Suwannee National
Wildlife Refuge.
We offer lodging in the Suwannee / Old Town area that sleeps from 2 – 5 guests. There are
Suwannee canal waterfront properties with a boat slip as well as cabins located 3 miles from the
canal. The waterfront properties are a few minutes boat idle distance to the Gulf of Mexico. Truck
and boat / trailer parking at all locations.
Not far from Suwannee, 30 minutes East, we offer Little Critters Farm, a 10-acre farm in Trenton,
Florida. Five acres of natural woods and 5 acres of clean pasture. The remodeled farmhouse
features accommodations for 4 as well as primitive camping on 3 private sites. Ample room for
parking your boat, trailer or RV.
